CHEESECAKE!!

         For the first time I made cheesecake and luckily it didn't turn out a complete fail:) I made four different kinds in two pans..... Reeses, lemon, new york, and plum jelly. It was super easy and yummy:) This is a picture of them before it got destroyed and eaten:) haha:) That's my cutco spatula spreader at the bottom:)

St. Patrick's day!:)

       HAPPY ST PATRICK'S DAY!:) I wore a ton of green today (Well i still am...) so luckily I didn't get poked, pinched, or punched:) I also got to see my friends from Heber who had come over:) It was way fun and super cool:) I haven't seen either of them in so freakin' long!:) I gotta admit today was a pretty good day for me:) haha:) too bad i had no green food coloring:/ I just made blue pancakes with eggs for breakfast:) nothing super fancy/ green:) Whatevs:) O but I can't wait for Wednesday:) It will officially be spring by then:) I LOVE SPRING!!! it's my absolute favorite season!!! I'm starting a count down:) so far.... 3 days:)

      Recently a friend and I were talking about the stress of eczema  I found a few ways as to how to get rid of it:) Hope these help:)

1.) Put lotion or creams (the thicker creams moisturize better) on affected areas after taking a shower or washing hands; this will trap the moisture and prevent the dry air from aggravating the eczema (dry skin leads to eczema so keep it moisturized); however DO NOT use scented lotion, that can irritate it and make it worse.

2.) Avoid hot baths, showers (take lukewarm), chemicals, chlorine, and alcohol based products, such as face cleansers and perfume (unless prescripted from dermatologists); this can dry out your skin even more and cause it to break.

3.)  You can use creams such as ,Vaseline,Vanos, Cortizone 10 and Aloe ; this will stop the itching however don't use it too often (in fact the max amount is probably about once per week) and only apply small amounts each time.

4.) DO NOT SCRATCH IT!!! if it starts to itch a lot, gently pat it and distract yourself from the temptation.

5.) When skin is red, itchy, and inflamed use an over the counter hydrocortisone cream

 6.) Drink lots of water and keep affected areas dry

7.) If eczema can't be kept under control, see dermatologist for a prescription steroid

8.) Use shea butter. (you can get pure shea butter @ "perfectly posh" : The Healer)

Truth or Dare:)

        Hey:) so I decided that truth and dare is only fun if you have good truths and dares and don't end up having to sit there trying to think of something so here are some I've heard or used:)

  *truth: would you ever go out with.....?
    dare: kiss the first person that walks by
  *truth: what would you want to say to (person they like) right now?
    dare: act like a (some type of animal) til their next turn
  *truth: If someone made a movie about you, what would you call it? who'd play you?
    dare: (no matter where you are) do the hokey pokey, singing as loud as you can
  *truth: what's a question you're afraid to answer truthfully?
    dare: be (someone in room)'s slave til next turn
  *truth: If you could go back  in time & fix something you or someone else did, when would you go back and why?
    dare: (go to random seat with person sitting there) yell: "Why are you sitting there?(gasp) (loud whisper) do you want to get with him/her? do you. want to get. with him/her?
   *truth: If you were reincarnated, who/what would you want to be?
     dare: act out a commercial ad
   *truth: If you had a genie that granted 3 wishes (can't wish for more), what would you ask for?
   *dare: (pick two/more spices and/or food make a concoction) eat whatever the other person creates:)
   *truth: Who out of this room would be the worst/best date?
   *dare: Get a bucket of ice water with cherries at the bottom and pick get them out with either mouth/ toes
   *truth: If you had to be Krazy-glued to a celebrity who'd it be and why?
   *dare: Eat a spoonful of cinnamon
   *truth: Have you ever lied to me, what was it?
   *dare: tweez out arm/leg hair one by one for (certain amount of time)

Tip #5

            It's been a while since I've posted any tips so I figure I mind as well. After washing your hair using warm/hot water, rinse it with cold to finish. The warm water opens your pores, when finishing, the cold water will not only close the pores but also seal in the protein from your shampoo and conditioner. Also wash your hair with a hair mask/ deep conditioner about once a month. Thanks for reading:)

              Ok so my sister is visiting and brought her husband:) I'm so happy!! they're the best:) anyway my younger sister went out and helped my brother-in-law make a snowman and, after shoving shovels for his arms, baseballs for his eyes, and a hose for his nose, they decided to name him. We finally came up with the name Solomon Shiverpants:) he makes a great addition to the family:) Just thought you'd want to know about that:) haha:) hope you had a Merry Christmas/ Happy Hannukah/ Happy new year:)

what's the rush?

   
       I'm not the best person to be giving advice on weddings/marriages but I'm still debating if 12/12/12 is supposed to be a good or bad day to be getting married.... I've read about how so many people are rushing just to get married on this day!! I understand why, but is it really worth possibly getting married to the wrong person just so you can say you were married on "once-in-a-century date"? I don't understand, if you get married too soon, what will happen to your marriage in the future? a divorce? possibly, hopefully, these people will stay together:/ I really hope they do, divorces are tough, believe me I know. but hey:) I love weddings:) They're amazingly fun and I hope (for all those newly weds) they all have an amazing time:)
